This painting, or series of paintings, depicts key scenes from Jesus' life: the Nativity, Jesus being presented in the Temple as an infant; Jesus debating with the Temple elders; the Wedding at Cana; his death on the cross; and finally, Mary's ascension into heaven.
This work has been painted directly onto boards that form a screen in front of the Sacristy at Our Lady of Peace church in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. The boards are hinged so that the pictures may be hidden at certain times of year.
